Overcoming Conventional Tube Clamping Limits

Traditional two-chuck tube laser cutting machines leave an unusable scrap remnant of 150mm to 300mm at the end of every raw pipe. In stainless steel or copper tube manufacturing, this waste translates to thousands of dollars in lost raw material annually.

How 3-Chuck Systems Achieve Zero Waste

In a 3-chuck configuration, the middle chuck acts as a pass-through stabilization clamp, while the front and rear chucks feed the pipe through the cutting plane. When reaching the tail end of the tube, the cutting head travels past the rear clamp, utilizing 100% of the pipe length with zero scrap tailings.
